TWA Spring Finale Shatters Expectations!

On Thursday May 21st, Titan Wrestling Academy (TWA) hosted their final youth wrestling event of the season. Wrestlers, family, and friends gathered in Tesoro's Main Gym for an intersquad dual meet. This friendly competition allowed our youth wrestlers to showcase their technical prowess on the big stage. For many of them, this was their first wrestling competition outside of the practice room.
This was also a big first for TWA! A youth wrestling event like this has never been hosted at Tesoro before. The intersquad dual featured 17 matches, 31 wrestlers, and 10 pizzas consumed!
Thank you to Reign Wrestling Club for participating and helping make this event a huge success. Thank you to our Tesoro high school wrestlers and parents for setting up and supporting the next generation of wrestlers.
This event shattered our coaching staff's expectations. Not only did we have a bigger turnout than expected, but everyone wrestled hard and it was just FUN! We cannot wait to host more events like this in the future. Go Titans!
